Ah, the mamey sapote! The fruit’s dreamy, creamy texture makes it ideal for smoothies, “ice-creams” and straight spooning.

Here is my mamey sapote green smoothie recipe, jungle style!
Prep time: 5 minutes/Serves: 4

Flesh of 1 mamey sapote
Flesh of 1 papaya
3 small frozen apple bananas or 2 large frozen regular bananas
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup fresh coconut water
1 large handful of kale, or other green

Step one
Throw all ingredients in a blender, blend, and enjoy while soaking up the sun.
